Standby Ambulance Services

On-Site Response Ambulance

An ambulance that cannot transport people is commonly referred to as a non-transporting ambulance or a response vehicle. These types of ambulances are typically equipped with the same medical equipment as a transporting ambulance, such as oxygen tanks, defibrillators, and other emergency medical supplies. However, instead of transporting patients to hospitals, these vehicles are used to provide on-site medical care and transportation for medical staff and equipment to the scene of an emergency. Non-transporting ambulances are commonly used for standby services at events, sports games, and film productions, where they provide medical support and rapid response in case of medical emergencies.
